Dynamic Battery Tester, A Must Have For Every Household

Terrific gadget to keep in my drawer full of batteries.

I do get so frustrated sometimes trying to figure out if my flashlight is dead or just the batteries are dead. Many flashlights just one day die for good and new batteries don't help them. I think I've thrown out good batteries and that is a huge waste of money.

Waterproof Borescope Camera

I am using this on Windows 7 laptop. When I plugged in the USB it automatically loaded the drivers. I followed the included directions to download their RAR file and then open it to run their program, but it wouldn't work for me. Next I tried using a program called Smart Camera. It seemed to work making videos or pictures.

I've included a video of me using this borescope to delve into the mysteries of my pen and pencil holder. The camera is sharp, clear and colorful. You can see all the little ink stains from the pens plus a piece of broken lead from a pencil.

The camera has a very rigid cable which is great in case one needs to dive down the sink drain to see what's clogging it or to locate a piece of jewelry that fell down there. It's waterproof and the lighting can be set up for bright or dim for your investigation.

You can watch the camera on the screen or push record video so you can focus on shoving the cable around while recording what it finds. I like the thoughtful accessories included; magnet, hook, and mirror. Besides havin a load of fun with this investigation things, you can seriously use this for work.

I had a good frightening time peeking up my nose with this and checking out my teeth. I looked into my ears, oh my gosh. Scary stuff! So if you need to look at embarrassing parts of your body, this will do the trick. I didn't touch myself with the camera, just used it for looking and recording videos which I quickly deleted. LOL!

This would probably work better with a smart phone, but I enjoy using it with my old Windows 7 laptop.

The price is easy on the wallet, a great accessory to have. 

A Must Have For Emergency Repairs

J-B Water Weld is MAGIC, it can fix plumbing or oil pan or hot water heaters. It withstands heat. It's easy to use.

The cost at Amazon was half the price of what the hardware store wanted. I know because I called and asked them, while listening to their outrageous price on the phone, I looked it up on Amazon, it was such a bargain I ordered it from Amazon instead.

After much trial and error with other products, J-B Water Weld FIXED my leaking hot water tank in my motorhome without having to rip apart the place to install a new heater. I am now happily using my old heater just fine.

My water tank is stored in an area with a ton of RV electrical wiring. Replacing it would be very costly both for the tank itself (have to buy the entire unit) plus the installation was way beyond my capabilities for sure. Being that RV repairman charge 80-120 per hour, I could see where this could become a ridiculously expensive repair if they took 10-20 hours to reroute and remove all the wiring (that services the rest of the RV)  and plumbing (also servicing the entire RV) long enough to remove the tank, replace and hook the entire mess back up again.

This stuff was a lifesaver. I now have hot water in my RV again, no water leaks, and the cost of the repair was teeny tiny fraction of what replacing the hot water tank would have been.

I've included a picture of my hot water fix. As of this writing, the weld has held up to hot water 24 hour daily use for over 8 months. I expect it will outlast the rig.

I learned about this product when I lived aboard a sailboat. You can use it on cars, RV's sailboats and around the home.

23.5 Inch Plant Dolly Works Amazingly Well, Holds 500 Pounds

I bought this plant dolly because of its size and weight capacity. At the time I ordered mine it was offered in black or black, so I chose black.

I wanted to use it for the base to make my own outdoor office type chair. I had an outdoor chair with a round base that rotated and swiveled, but it didn't roll round. Amazingly, this dolly works perfectly for that. So now I can enjoy my outdoor patio desk in greater comfort. It also gave my chair more height, which was needed too, so all in all for my project, it has worked out beautifully.

I have included pictures to show the correct dimensions of the one I received. If these are rubber wheels as advertised, they are the hardest rubber I have ever encountered. I have been rolling this dolly around a very old and worn concrete patio for over a week now and it moves fine. The wheels spin and rotate and roll effortlessly with no fighting.

Mine is 23.5 inches,  a half inch shy of being 24 inches across. There is a slight lip on the edge. There are nice grooves in a circular pattern so you can center up any round planter or object you need to place on it. The height from the patio to the dolly shelf is almost 4 inches. There are no drain holes. If you need drain holes, use a drill to make some but remember there is a center caster so you can't have a drain hole centered. I would not personally want drain holes, preferring a saucer under my plant, but if you need drains, you can drill some.

It came with six 2 inch high casters (from base to tip of wheel) that seem sturdy enough and have visible metal bearings. They are well placed so that this dolly is not tippy at all. I've been using it to sit and roll around in my patio chair and I've had no problems with it tipping.

I have no way to test the 500 pound weight, but my big 300+ pound friend sat in the chair and rolled around the patio with no issues and no give to the base.
