This fit both my outdoor umbrella poles.

It can be aimed upwards for ambient lighting or downwards for table lighting. I like that it has 3 settings. One is with just the outer lights, one with the 4 inner lights or all of the lights at once.

Needs 4 AA batteries which are not included, but that's OK, Amazon has great deals on buying  batteries in bulk so I had batteries on hand anyhow.

Three Years Later, Still Going Strong, A Must Have For Every Camper

I have been using this over 3 years now.

It is powerful and bright. The batteries last a long time.

When things go bump in the night, I can immediately shine this outside and see what kind of ghoulies and ghosties are lurking about.

While workamping in my RV on remote US Army Corp property, I was able to light up the trespassers that entered the park in the dark after closing. Amazing how having yourself lit up by a bright spotlight can make you want to get back in your car and leave at a rapid pace.

If some fool is banging on your RV door after dark and you aren't expecting a soul, just light them up with this spotlight. They are so blinded that if they had any ill will, they are temporarily stunned and tend to run off at great speed. These lights are unique and quite versatile. 

The kit arrived complete. Nothing more to buy. The remote comes with the batteries installed, just remove the safety plastic tab that prevents the batteries from making contact during shipping. Now your remote is ready to operate. 

The USB plug will need to be plugged into the end of the light-strip. Make sure you get it in correctly or it won't work. The back of the lights comes with durable 3M sticky tape. Where ever you plan to put these lights, be sure to measure and mark with a pencil first. The 3M tape does not like to be re-positioned after you stick it on. If you have to move the lights, you will need to buy more 3M tape.

I find that if you carefully clean the area where the tape will stick with plain rubbing alcohol then making sure that is completely dry, the tape will adhere nicely. Typically the tape will set permanently after 24 hours or so of being stuck up. Try to press it into place so there are no air gaps. 

These lights can be powered by any USB port from your TV, or laptop, or an electric USB adapter or 12 volt adapter. This is perfect for tiny home living and especially for motorhomes and travel trailers. 

If you need to shorten the light strip, follow the included  instructions for snipping the lights with scissors. If you want longer lights, then buy another kit to hook into this one. 

These lights are fun and festive. You can spend hours playing with the remote coming up with your own custom lighting. Super Useful in Dark Storage Areas

Love these motion lights!

I have a dark shed. There is a light in the middle of the ceiling that is on a pull cord, but I have to walk in the dark to find it. Sometimes I need to open the shed at night and I never want to step inside cause I am not sure what might have slithered inside so I am squeamish about walking in the dark inside the shed.  I stuck one of these lights inside the shed by the door. Now whenever I open the door at night, the light immediately comes on. I can then clearly see the floor to go turn on the overhead light.

My motorhome closet is dark and crowded. I stuck one inside the closet and now, it's like living in luxury, to open the closet door and have it light up brightly.

These came with adhesive double stick round backing. It's very aggressive to make sure you are happy with the placement before you put it there. Once it's stuck on, you can rotate the face of the light on and off so you can change the batteries when they wear out.
