Excellent Backpack Not Just For Mothers and Babies, Perfect For Flying

This is an AWESOME backpack and it's not just for babies and mothers.

It works terrific as a carryon bag with the airlines. It fits perfectly under the seat in front!

It also holds a ton of stuff in roomy pockets. Especially nice that it will hold a drink and a regular sized book in the outer pockets as wel as cell phone, wallet, glasses, keys, makeup, CPAP, toiletries, yes the CPAP fit in there too.

This is a pic of it packed for the airlines and it was a breeze to carry, wear on back and leave hands free. The fabric is super nice, it's very well stitched, no loose sewing, no loose threads, the zipper expertly installed.

This is a backpack for all occasions!

I gave it 5 stars because my friend used it for flying and LOVED it for its quality and versatility.

A Gigantic Sturdy Hammock For Serious Outdoor Fun

This has to be the most comfortable hammock ever made!

I searched and researched all over Amazon and elsewhere in search of the perfect hammock that could travel, withstand rain, was washable and made for heavy duty use with generous sizing. This one fit the bill hands down like none other.

It seems all hammocks no matter the size are advertised as a double. But this doesn't mean you should put 2 in it! This one is so generous, you can lay down in it, then use the sides to fold up over you to keep out others. No kidding, you can fold up the sides to keep out bugs and bird poop. Yep. I was hit with bird poop, but it wiped right off of me and the hammock.

I sit in it sideways and swing it like a gigantic weightless rocker. Oh my gosh is that heaven on earth. I also stretch out in it and wonder if I will ever climb out again to visit mother earth. There is plenty of room to climb in with your favorite pillow. I like that the bag is sewed to the side of the hammock. I can tuck a book in it or my water flask or both. Mostly I don't need it for either because I am swinging away or snoozing.

The fabric seems very sturdy. The colors are ultra pleasing. The ropes that come with it are OK, if you like to play with knots all day and have perfectly spaced trees but I use mine with Hammock Straps (Set of 2), Sahara Sailor Hammock Tree Hanging Straps 1400+ LBS Heavy Duty Non-Stretch Suspension System Kit (12kN Aluminum Carabiners Set Included).

The MalloMe hammock came with carabiners and so did the straps I bought extra, so now I have extras in case I need them.

I wouldn't put two adults in this hammock, get them their own hammock. Yes, you can put two adults in it for some serious snuggling. Also very comfortable for parent and child or a baby laying on your belly.

Two adults or several children can sit in it sideways, with their feet hanging out like a chair and just swing back and forth. It feels awesome! While mine appears to be several feet off the ground, once I am in it, I am only about foot off the ground. I have short legs, so I need to be low so I can get out again. One way to get out if you are laying down, is to put one leg on one side and the other leg on the other side. Then reach forward with both arms and scoot up towards the end until you are able to stand up.

I've had my hammock out camping and I've got it set up now where I live. It is heavenly. I can happily waste hours in it. If you have a family, you may need to buy several of these!

Super Tight Lid, Open It a Little to Get it To Snap on Tightly

These are nice water tight and air tight lids.

They fit the 20 ounce Yeti style vacuum insulated tumblers, but they do not fit the 30 ounce ones. So make sure you know which size you need before ordering.

Having 3 lids, means you never have to hunt one down or if you have multiple containers it will fit them all. The best lid, because it makes the tumbler spill proof.

Realistic and Whimsical

I bought this in 2013 to stick on the outside of my motorhome. As of 2017, it is just now starting to show heavy use. It has been on the outside under the awning, so many times when parked, it has the benefit of shade. 

I am including a picture of it, how it looks 4 years later. 

Being that I spent a quarter century working on boats afloat around the Caribbean, it was stuck up there as a temporary memory for me to enjoy. I am surprised it has lasted this long!

I hope they have found a way to improve the shipping by now. At the time I bought mine in 2013, it arrived with a huge crease in it! Yikes! It took weeks to flatten out the crease so I could stick it up and use it. 

I just wish they included a half dozen of these in the package rather than just one. But if you need some whimsy and fun in your life, I have enjoyed this immensely.

Top 5 Tiny House Books

Tiny House Living is a classic book on the subject, and the No. 1 best seller on Amazon. It
focuses on the tiniest of homes, 400 square feet or under. It includes tons of gorgeous, full
page, color photographs to inspire and show just how many designs are available for building
tiny homes. The homes featured in this book are both trailers and stationary buildings. In
addition to providing great inspiration in the form of photos, this book uses case studies to
discuss some of the important points that attract people to the tiny home lifestyle, including
voluntary simplicity, turning away from consumer culture, as well as aesthetics and design. Tiny
House Living is a long book at 170 pages and is an excellent resource for ideas, discussion and
inspiration.

Tiny Houses by Mimi Zeiger is another inspiring title and makes a great conversation starter. The author focuses on homes under 1,000 square feet and features modular and prefab homes from all over the world, ranging from tree houses to floating homes and everything in between. The author challenges you to explore the concept of “microgreen living” and challenge yourself to find ways for you to live a “greener” life, using the case studies in this book as inspiration.

The Big Tiny is a different kind of tiny house book. This is a memoir, the story of how author Dee Williams came to re-evaluate her life and priorities after a near-death experience, and eventually found peace through building and moving in to an 84-square-foot house. The book comes highly recommended with reviewers mentioning how funny, heart-warming and inspiring it is, not to mention well written. If you look through the review section on Amazon you will see how this story has changed peoples lives and set them on a path to finding greater simplicity in their own lives. This book is not heavy on photographs and does not talk about how to design, build or decorate a tiny house, but if you are looking for a great story that encompasses the tiny house lifestyle, this is the book for you.

Tiny Homes on the Move takes a good look at all of the different styles of tiny houses that are mobile and invite their owners to travel. It includes vans, camper shells, house trucks, buses, trailers, cycles, sailboats and houseboats. These kinds of tiny homes tend to be more practical and accessible than some of the highly designed, architectural models that are the focus of many tiny house books. Homes on wheels or in the water represent freedom, movement, and a lifestyle full of travel and adventure. These homes tend to be much smaller, with many as small as 100 sq feet or less. The extreme small size forces an even more stringent approach to minimalism and functional space saving design. This book is heavy on photographs and is great for inspiration and wanderlust!

Tiny Homes, Simple Shelter is another classic title by Lloyd Kahn, focusing on 150 individual homes that were built by their owners as an alternative to rents, mortgages and overpriced homes. This book is very heavy on photos, with over 1,300 full color pictures of homes on land, on wheels, on water, and in trees. It also features other kinds of small buildings such as studios, saunas, garden sheds and greenhouses. Along with the photos are stories, thoughts and inspirations shared by the builders and homeowners. This book has been around for almost 40 years now, and is a classic among the Tiny House community.

Awesome Salad Tossing and Serving Spoons

I  bought these as a wedding gift for a professional guitar player who loves to cook. They said no gifts on the invitation, but knowing they love guitar memorabilia I figured a little gift wouldn't hurt. They loved them!

These are perfect for tossing up a salad and serving with same. They can be used to serve any dish, hot or cold.

They come a bit rough, but can be made beautifully durable by applying mineral oil  in several light coats over several days, before using. Just coat in mineral oil, wipe off excess then wait 24 hours, add another coat and do this for about a week. Well worth the wait! They will be handsome and durable for years to come.

By the way, these are not for the dishwasher. Hand wash and towel dry then let them finish air drying after each use. The mineral oil adds a layer of protection.

They also look great on the wall as kitchen decor. Just use 2 brass coffee mug hooks at the base of each one. They can still be removed for every day use.
