I was super impressed with the huge variety of truly useful equipment. Whether you are sewing up a dress from scratch or simply sewing on a button, this kit has everything. Evergreen has thoughtfully included a magnifying glass and needle threader. So bingo, you get your needle threaded without any hassles at all. Add to that are emergency shirt buttons (we never know WHERE those buttons disappear to!).
There are safety pins for emergency repairs as well as nice long sturdy straight pins for neatly pinning fabric that needs to be sewed. There is a special tool for pushing a string or elastic through a waist band. I don't know how to crochet, but there is a crochet needle just in case. I thin kit can be used to snagged a loose string in a sweater and tie a knot to keep the sweater from unraveling.
This kit comes in a lovely zippered case as well as a gift box that is so beautiful just stick a bow on it and your gift giving is done.
This is perfect to keep in your car for emergencies or motorhome or boat. As a sailor and an RV owner and a frequent traveler I love compact useful kits.
