Mine arrived with super dull blades. It did a great job of tangling up my dog's fur without cutting or removing any mats at all. We both hated it and with the dull blades, it was hopeless.
I had to return mine for refund.
My dog is 6 pound terrier chihuahua mixed mutt.
I have included his picture to show you it did not work on his type of fur.
At the urging of my dog, I used the refund to buy him toys.
