This work fantastically well.
It reads the wind speed accurately as well as temperature.
I like that it has a handy carrying handle so it doesn't get blown out of your hand.
Recently I was in a storm and clocked the winds at 58MPH! Holy cow! The weather station reported it at 60MPH, so the darn thing is accurate. I was also using it recently in my friend's car. He didn't have air conditioning and we were checking the temps of the car to see if safe for dog to travel with windows part down while we shopped quickly. It's amazing how quick a car can heat up, even with the windows part way down.
It was a bit difficult to get the batteries in. But once I realized you have to remove the plastic cover *duh* they went in fine!
I give it 5 wonderful stars for quality craftsman ship and it works as advertised.
