I received my Deckey Multi-Color Solar Lights at no cost in
order to evaluate them. This product is about as easy as it gets. I removed the
lights from the box and set the solar panel in the sun to charge (putting it
under a lamp inside would of course have worked too). This string of 100 cute
little LED lights spans a surprising forty feet and the narrow green cord blends
in with a plant's green foliage. I strung mine around some plants on my deck
and, when darkness arrived, turned them on. They worked just as I had
hoped.
There is approximately six feet of cord from the charger to
the first light on the string, which allows the solar panel to be placed in a
sunny spot away from the lights. This will enable the charger to be placed in a
window while your Christmas tree is conveniently located in the corner of the
room. Included is a spike for mounting the panel in the ground and it also
allows for the panel to be adjusted to face the sun. On the back of the solar
panel is a water-tight on/off switch as well as a button for flashing or
continuous light function. Although the LED lights are bright, their tiny size
makes them a tasteful accent rather than a gaudy eyesore. Being so small makes
them practically invisible when not in use.
This is an honest and unbiased review, and the vendor in no
way has influenced, modified, or edited my comments.
I give this product five stars for its ease of use, its
tasteful simplicity, and its versatility of function. If they aren't on my
Christmas tree this year they will be pleasantly hung on the Japanese maple tree
in my front yard. What's more, after the initial purchase there is no cost
whatsoever to enjoy your Decker LED Solar Lights. Now that's a
bargain!
