What makes it so super cool is the fact that it is a rechargeable lamp with a USB male plug. It did not come with the US 110 outlet USB female adapter but we had one on hand to use anyhow. We already have 12 volt USB adapters for using in the car and motorhome.
What this means is that you never want to be without this light! We travel often by boat, car and motorhome. This lamp will work anywhere.
If you are in a sticks and brick home that has a power outage you can enjoy this lamp anywhere. Even with the power running you can unplug the lamp and move it to where ever you need light right that moment, without having to run cords.
The light can be reconfigured and rotated for any type of project to put the light right where you want it with multiple choices for brightness. The smooth silicone has such a nice feel to it.
For fun it has assorted colors in the base for creating ambiance. In this hectic world anything that plasters a smile on your face is essential and this lamp made us smile, giggle and rejoice. There is light!
If you want to give someone an awesome gift that they will treasure and use everyday, give them this light. If they are techno challenged, make sure to give them a separate 110 to USB adapter for home use.
